MY FIGHTING EXPERIENCE

My name is Bao, I have been training Martial Arts for 30 years and counting. I started with Tae Kwon Do as a young lad and soon ventured into Muay Thai. In as early as 3 months of training, I had my first amateur fight, and thus began a journey that forever changed my life.
I am a open class fighter with 6 professional fights in Thailand. I have trained at renowned gyms including Canada’s TKO Fighting Arts, and Thailand’s Kiatphontip Gym. I’ve been to Thailand on 4 different occasions, twice for an extended period of time where I lived, eat, and trained alongside world class fighters and coaches. Some names include Jompop Kiatphontip, Rob Storey, Bao Samingprai and Bryce Krause. The training sessions in Thailand were grueling at 2 sessions a day, with each session being 3 hours long in the heat.

WHAT I WANT FOR MY STUDENTS

As a dedicated Muay Thai coach, my goal is to elevate my students' skill levels in this incredible martial art while simultaneously enhancing their conditioning and strength. I believe that mastering the techniques of Muay Thai is crucial, and I aim to create a structured training environment where students can refine their skills through focused drills, sparring, and guided feedback. By incorporating diverse training methods, I can ensure that each student develops a well-rounded skill set.
Additionally, I want to help my students build confidence, just as Muay Thai has done for me in my younger years. This journey is not only about physical prowess but also about cultivating a strong mindset. Through mental conditioning techniques, goal-setting, and celebrating progress, I aim to empower my students to overcome challenges both in and out of the ring. My mission is to create a supportive and motivating atmosphere where every student feels capable and confident in their abilities.

All Women's Muay Thai Instructor
Vivian Huynh
I began my Muay Thai journey in 2018, immediately becoming addicted to its blend of discipline, power and controlled strength. I love my weight training but it’s pretty useful to know how to throw a punch, how to take one, and training my body for functional, physical impact.
Since then, I began jiu jitsu in 2021, complementing the rest of my active lifestyle that includes yoga and various sports. With both martial arts, my confidence in my ability to handle myself in most situations has soared.
If you want to do regular kickboxing, go join a cardio gym. If you want to challenge yourself not only physically but mentally, and become a more resilient, stronger version of yourself around like-minded people - see ya on the mats.
BJJ GI Coach
Cameron Foster
My first introduction with BJJ was nearly 20 years ago in Kitchener under team Alliance with professor Drago. My passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and and teaching also started around this time.

My approach to coaching is rooted in empathy and understanding. I believe that BJJ is not just about physical prowess, but about strategy, timing, and the ability to read one’s opponent. My classes often feature a mix of drilling, sparring, and theoretical discussions, encouraging students to ask questions and explore the art’s intricacies.
What I want most for my students is to cultivate a love for the sport and develop confidence in their abilities. I understand that each student comes to the mats with different goals, whether it's improving fitness, mastering self-defense, or competing at high levels. I take the time to get to know each individual, tailoring my coaching to help them achieve their personal aspirations. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, I ensure that every student feels valued and motivated to push their limits.
The passion for BJJ fuels my dedication as a coach, inspiring his students to not only improve their skills but also to embrace the challenges and joys that come with the practice. Through my guidance, I hope to instill a lifelong appreciation for the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in each of my students.
Kids Muay Thai Coach
Rau Agomaa
I started my journey a couple decades back under the lineage of the popular Siam #1. As you can expect from someone who trained at Siam, I place a large emphasis on technique and the application of that technique in a controlled environment.

As a Muay Thai kids coach, my primary goal is to elevate my students' skill levels in this dynamic martial art. I strive to maintain a balance between discipline and enjoyment in our training sessions. While I can be strict at times, emphasizing the importance of focus and hard work, I also believe in the value of having fun. Training should be an enjoyable experience that fosters camaraderie and enthusiasm.

However, when it’s time to get serious, I expect full commitment and concentration. I instill a strong work ethic in my students, ensuring they understand the dedication required to excel. By fostering an environment where seriousness and fun coexist, I aim to create a positive atmosphere that encourages growth and development in both skills and character.

Muay Thai Fundamentals Instructor
Arrvy Angco
I started my martial arts path in MMA and quickly fell in love with Muay Thai.

As a Muay Thai instructor, my mission is to empower my students to become skilled martial artists and confident individuals. I believe that training goes beyond just physical techniques; it fosters discipline, resilience, and respect. I strive to create a supportive environment where each student can thrive, encouraging them to push their limits while embracing the journey of self-improvement.

My ultimate goal is for students to not only master the art of Muay Thai but also develop mental toughness and a strong sense of community. I tailor my instructing to help individuals achieve their personal goals, whether that’s competing, gaining fitness, or learning self-defense.
Through dedication and hard work, I want my students to walk away with valuable life lessons that extend far beyond the gym.
BJJ NOGI Coach
Nathan Benoit
My name is Coach Nathan Benoit, and I’ve dedicated much of my teens and adult years to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, particularly in the Nogi realm.
From the moment I stepped onto the mats, I was captivated by the intricate techniques and the mental chess that BJJ represents. The thrill of grappling, the challenge of pushing my limits, and the camaraderie among practitioners have all fueled my passion for this incredible sport.
I have trained alongside some really great grapplers and have numerous competition experience under my belt. This include competing in Las Vegas and IBJJF competitions in both GI and NOGI
As a coach, I take great pride in my technical approach to teaching. I believe that a solid foundation is essential for every student, regardless of their experience level. My classes focus on breaking down techniques into manageable parts, ensuring that my students fully understand the “why” behind each movement. I emphasize the importance of education in our training; I want my students to not only execute techniques effectively but also to grasp the underlying principles that make them work. This approach fosters a deeper connection to the art and empowers students to think critically on the mats.

I love seeing my students grow, both as fighters and individuals. Each time they master a new technique or overcome a challenge, it reinforces my commitment to their development. My goal is to create a supportive environment where everyone feels encouraged to explore their potential. BJJ has given me so much, and I strive to pass on that gift to others. Whether you’re looking to compete, improve your self-defense skills, or simply enjoy the journey, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
Together, we’ll embrace the beauty of Jiu-Jitsu and the thrill of the fight.
MMA Coach
Charlie Barangan
I’ve been immersed in the world of mixed martial arts for quite some time. My passion lies primarily in wrestling, which I believe is the backbone of MMA. I emphasize the importance of grappling skills not just for control but for establishing dominance in the cage. I’ve seen firsthand how a solid wrestling foundation can elevate a fighter’s game, so I focus on drilling techniques that blend seamlessly into striking and submission work.

I believe that laughter truly is the spice of life, and I bring a fun, cheerful approach to my coaching. My classes are filled with energy and humor, creating an environment where athletes feel comfortable pushing their limits while enjoying the process. I strive to make learning engaging and enjoyable, whether we’re perfecting takedowns or working on fight strategy.
My goal is to inspire my fighters to not only excel in their skills but also to cultivate a love for the sport that keeps them coming back for more, all while sharing some laughs along the way!
